Dr. Flanigan is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in foot surgery and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Flanigan is a graduate of Wheaton College in Illinois and received his medical training from Temple University. He completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and has had additional training in Germany and Italy. Dr. Flanigan frequently provides lectures to the medical community on ankle arthroscopy and treatment of severe bunion deformities. He also has particular interest in the treatment of sports related injuries, problems associated with flat-foot deformities and in revisional foot surgery. Dr. Flanigan is an avid cyclist and enjoys traveling and fly-fishing.

Dr. Juris graduated from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and completed his medical training at Temple University. He completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at Kern Hospital for Special Surgery in Detroit. He is past Chief of the Department of Foot and Ankle Surgery at Mercy Hospital. Dr. Juris' special interests include the advancement of surgical techniques for the treatment of bunion deformities and arthritis affecting the great toe joint. Dr. Maisak is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Maisak is particularly interested in treating sports injuries and biomechanical abnormalities of the foot utilizing orthotics, bracing and surgical intervention. He enjoys helping patients stay active and believes that treating foot and ankle pathology must include a clear understanding of the patient's overall health. Dr. Maisak received his medical training at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt College. He completed his residency in foot surgery at Intermountain Medical Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. He enjoys his family, skiing, scuba diving, camping and traveling in his time away from the practice.

Dr. Long is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in foot surgery and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. After receiving her Podiatric medical degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, Illinois, she completed her residency program at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. She received comprehensive training ranging from complex bunion and hammer toe repair to adolescent and adult flatfoot reconstruction, acute trauma in the foot and ankle, sports medicine pathologies and diabetic foot reconstruction and limb salvage. She practiced in North Carolina at the prestigious Wake Forest University for almost 10 years before deciding to move to Portland, Maine. Dr. Long enjoys all facets of foot and ankle medicine and surgery, with a love for keeping her patients active and happy. When not practicing, she enjoys running, camping, yoga, and a variety of other outdoor sports and family time with her husband and 3 children.

Dr. Schneiders is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot and ankle reconstruction surgery and is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Washington, she earned her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed extensive training in foot and ankle reconstruction surgery during residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. She completed a Pediatric Foot and Ankle Fellowship in Cedar Knolls, NJ at The Pediatric Orthopedic Center where she treated children and young adults with a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal problems, fractures, sports injuries and complex foot disorders like clubfoot. In her spare time she enjoys running, hiking, skiing and mountain biking with her husband.
